Walnut Magnetic knife block with walnut and maple base. Free US shipping

$95.00
sold out

This is a block of Walnut with many powerful Neodymium magnets embedded within and floating above the base thanks to some strips of maple. The whole thing is 14 inches tall (not including knives), 15 inches wide, and the base is 4 inches deep. “Free” shipping within the continental USA.

The magnets are super strong and go from side to side in the walnut block. They will hold your knives exactly where you place them, no jumping about or rotating on you after they get placed. They are so powerful that if you try and remove the knife as is it might pull the rest of the block with it! It is recommended that you first twist the knife so only the rear spline is touching the walnut, reducing the amount of metal that is close to the magnets. You could also put some double stick tape under the base.

Sorry, full ceramic knifes wont stick to magnets and wont work with this knife block. And before anyone asks, those sharp pointy objects are mine and are not included. Apologies for having to add that disclaimer.

Where does your money go:
- $20 go towards taxes and website fees
- $20 go towards the “free” shipping.
- $15 go towards the dozen super strong bar magnets.
- $35 go towards all the wood used
- $5 go towards my snack and candy fund
