How to Install the coat hanger
Step 1: Carefully unpack the 2 coat hangers from the cardboard box.
Step 2: Grab a Flat Head Screw driver and carefully unscrew the bolt most of the way. At least enough to remove the wood piece it held in place
Step 3: Install this smaller piece of wood to the wall where you want the coat hanger.
- Make sure to put the pointy bit UP and AWAY from the wall.
- This piece of wood is about centered in the overall coat hanger. Use this to help place the final coat hanger.
- Make sure to use at least 2 screws which are fastened into something solid.
Step 4: Carefully place the coat hanger over the wood piece installed on the wall. It should nest with what was installed on the wall.
Step 5: Using the flat head screw driver slowly screw in the bolt on the bottom.
- You should feel little to no resistance and then all the sudden a lot of resistance. Stop there, no need to tighten hard.
